I hard of hearing and I live about 50 miles north of Napa and slept through the earthquake too. Several of my friends who wear earplugs when they sleep experience the same thing. I'm 1/2 embarrassed that I slept through a 6.1 magnitude earthquake and 1/2 scared that I could have experienced serious injury if my home had been much closer to the epicenter.
