Oprah interests to raise awareness about the dangers of talking and texting on cell phone while driving is a good issue to bring up, but I don't think it exactly an issue that got American are willing to make change on. If you think about is, Oprah talks on her cell phone all the time. Yeah, that's right, not while she's driving, but while someone is driving for her.

Bluetooth and other hand-free technologies has done much to prevent from such tradegy. Yet, it is still something that individuals need to understand themselves about the risk they're getting into when they decide to talk or text while driving. Just like when an individual gets in a car after drinking and should understand that there are conquenences when it's comes to drinking and driving.

I am doubtful that enforcing new laws as well as encouraging more strict laws will prevent any individuals behaviors when it comes to texting and talking while driving. I'm more of a believer for early awareness to prevent the outcome of what might happen when you make that choice.
