Thirst: A Movie Review

Water is essential to the survival of all ecosystem. Yet, the logic of putting water into a bottle and selling it to the world population is just plain silly. Even outrageous. Yet, it is being done as we speak. Yet, even I have been drinking water from a bottle since I was eight. It seem that most people did not really have much to say about the situation. It seems that they rather drink from bottle water since the water tastes better, clearer, and is guaranteed that it does not have any chemicals that would be found in your normal fountain sink. Well, we do have to admit that as the richest nation in the world, "Who should care anyways, since we can afford it?" Ah, there lies the answer. What about those who cannot afford it? What about the fact that even water is more expensive than milk?

Farmers in poor countries now cannot afford even the luxury of water since the price of water is much higher than the price of milk. So what do these farmers do? They buy the milk instead. What's the point of buying expensive water when you can buy milk at a cheaper price? In my opinion, nobody has ownership of the land, water, trees, plants and animals. Yet, humans are dangerous species. Everything we touch, we destroy. When we do start destroying it, it almost becomes destroyed into oblivion, yet, when we realized what has happened...here's come the ironic part, we want to save it before it's too late. Water should be free...in reality or not.
