I don't see why the government has any business getting involved with any private companies that way. It seems ridiculous, people pay a company to provide internet, if the government stepped in to "monitor" them in any way, wouldn't it become a government program? Oh! They want to make another tax to take more money from taxpayers. That's great. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's important for the government to play some role when it comes to regulating the Internet. You also want to make sure that the government keeps up or stay ahead of the development of the Internet as well. We're already behind advance nations such as China, Japan and Europe in terms of having fast Internet available. However, I do agree with you that it has become somewhat of a burden as the government is now looking into incorporating taxes on the Internet as well.
